Refund and Returns Policy

At Hrouga Car, we strive to provide the best car rental experience. We understand that plans can change, and we have developed the following Refund and Returns Policy to provide clarity on cancellations, refunds, and changes.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

1.1. Cancellation by Customer

  • More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund, minus any processing fees.
  • 24–48 hours before pickup: 50% refund of the total rental amount.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup or no-show: No refund will be issued.

1.2. Cancellation by Hrouga car

In rare cases, if we need to cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle unavailability), a full refund will be issued. We will notify you as soon as possible and may assist in arranging an alternative.

2. Early Returns

Returning a vehicle before the scheduled return date does not qualify for a partial refund, unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement or as a promotional offer.

3. Late Returns and No-Show

If you fail to pick up the vehicle within [X] hours of the scheduled pickup time without prior notice, it will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued. Late returns may incur additional charges as per the rental terms.

4. Vehicle Issues

If your vehicle experiences a mechanical issue or is not as described:

  • Contact us immediately.
  • We will provide a replacement vehicle or issue a partial/full refund depending on the circumstances.

5. Modifications to Booking

Modifications (e.g., changing dates, vehicle type) are subject to availability. If the modification results in a lower rental cost:

  • More than 48 hours before pickup: The price difference will be refunded.
  • Less than 48 hours before pickup: No refund will be issued for the price difference.

6. Refund Processing Time

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
